Blade Farming UK

Developing more sustainable, higher quality beef. It’s what customers and the environment demand.

The quality of the meat we offer our customers is our top priority. That’s why we work closely with groups such as Teagasc and the ICBF in Ireland and ADBH in the UK to help our farmers improve quality and herd performance, while reducing environmental impact.

For example, our Blade Farming programme - a structured and innovative approach to bringing beef to market – delivers consistently high-quality meat, plus real commercial and environmental benefits.

Blade farming: why expert planning produces excellent beef and a better environment

Blade Farming is focussed on producing high quality, consistent beef through a disciplined supply chain management operation.

Blade Farming also enables farmers to produce beef more efficiently in a controlled and natural environment. The process helps reduce the burden on the environment through less consumption of resources such as water, feed and energy. Significantly, it also reduces the average finishing age of animals from 28 to 22 months and improves daily weight gains from 0.6kg to 1kg.
